come on. what were the chances that the cavs were gonna win...still, how many of u agree with the fact that SA was way too boring and dull, and they already had 3 championships, and really cleveland deserved this title because they haven't won since '64. im not too happy with SA...but wht do u guys think...

44 years is nothing. Go to the baseball section and see if Cubs fans feel sorry for the "deserving" Cavs. There's no need for parenting in our sports: "Ok that's enough Timmy you've had 3 already. Be a good boy and let your new friend Lebron have this one."

The team that plays the best basketball and wins deserves to win. Sure, it'd be cool to have a new champion and not have it be the Spurs again, but the only way Cleveland will deserve it is if they can find a way to win 4 games in a row against the Spurs, like they did against Detroit. Otherwise, the Spurs will rightly get a championship they worked for.

The Cavs had their chances in game three, and kept falling short. The offense was stagnant, a lot of bad shots were taken. When LeBron had the ball, a lot of the times the other Cavs would just stand there and wait for him to do something, all of which played right into the Spurs game plan.

Hey. San Antonio may be boring to a lot of people, but they're an excellent team, they play good defense, they effectively execute their offense, and they're completely dominating the Cavs.

They are not even the BEST team in the east so how do they just deserve to win the title? I guess Kobe deserved to win without Shaq, and T-mac deserves to win, too. The Western conference has always been more dominant, with an exception of 2 out of the last 3 years when Detroit and Miami won. But Lebron is on an island all by himself and he doesn't have any help. He single-handedly lifted Cleveland past Detroit. I'm starting to think that Detroit might have given the Spurs more of a fight. Anyway, the Cavs are playing for pride now. It's over!!!

OK, the Cavs should have won all three game but they just kept missing shots. They probably played better defense than the Spurs all 3 games, but the Spurs just have too many scoring options they can trust. And the Cavs, you trust no one, not even Lebron. 3 out of 19 three point shooting.... yeah, the Cavs should have won if they made the league average 30%! Most of those threes were wide open shots too. So just stop kidding yourself, the Cavs can't aim under pressure. Remember that scene with that Japanese soldier with a rifle and Tom Cruise with a pistol in the Last Samurai. Yeah, it's just like that... And the Spurs are like Tom Cruise... Cavaliers aren't ready and need more training.

So, what your saying is.....San Antonio should just quit the Finals and let the Cavs win because they're boring??? No, of course not......the Spurs do not care if they're a boring team to be watched, they want to win! And that's exactly what they're going to do (because they worked hard to be the best team in the NBA). The Cavs need to earn their stripes......and quite frankly, they're did well this year, but the trophy will not be theirs. I hope I didn't offend you in any way......I'm just "speaking" from the heart.

Nooooooooooooo, how can you say a team that shoots 37% FG, and is 3-19 in three point shots, deserves to win the NBA title. The title goes to the better team, boring or not, and that is the Spurs.

Championships are not just handed out to teams, they have to take them. If Cleveland cannot beat the Spurs even when they play as bad as they did tonight, they do not deserve it.

The Cavs need to earn it, and I'm surprised they won the Eastern Conference considering how bad they are playing.

The better team is winning and is going to win. Championships don't go to sob stories or else the cubs would have won by now.
