ha...judging from some of the responses you've given has shown me why I never post questions in this forum. There are alot of hateful people whose lives are so empty that they have to put others down. But I digress
For you. Yes, if you fail, God will keep loving you. God is a loving God. He is longsuffering and waits for us to seek Him out. That's were forgiveness comes into play for the ones that call Him Lord. When we fail, not if, if we seek His forgiveness, He will give us the strength to meet any temptation that comes our way. Slowly and slowly we will gain strength with each trial if we ask His help in dealing with that trial.

It is not God who tests man, it is the wicked one. People have learned this from the story of Job. The wicked one saw how much Job loved God, and the wicked one proposed to God that if Job would suffer Job would lose Faith in God. God agreed to the wicked one and let the wicked one bring horrible tribulations to Job. Yet, Job was victorious in keeping his Faith with God.
If people are tested out of the Faith that they have in God, I am sure that the wicked one will know exactly what they have accomplished within theirsevles to keep the Faith they have in God.
With this, I am constantly reminded of the snake and the rock. It is common in the gospels that God calls himself the rock. It is that the snake is symbolic to satan in the gospels. The snake is a reptile that loves to sleep and curl under a rock. I look at God as the rock, and the wicked one as a snake. The Faith that I have in God is symbolic to what I see as the rock. When there are things about me that are a bit shaky in the way of The Lord, that is a perfect opportunity for the snake to come up out of the rock and grab ahold of me. Until the day that I have The Lords ways down in mind, body, and soul ---- as in the rock, the snake will most likely not leave me alone.

Yes, God will allow you to fail over and over again until you learn to quit making mistakes on the same test. But that doesn't mean there are no consequences and repercussions involved.
When God speaks to your heart requesting that you stop doing certain things that you already know you shouldn't be doing, trust him. Suffer yourself by rejecting the temptations that come from the 'wants' of your mind. Evaluate and become aware of the differences between your 'wants' and your 'needs'.
The reward is a stronger walk with God and no more consequences and repercussions unless you return back to your old ways.

Sounds like the Ohio Graduation Test. If you fail God's test seven times, will you at least get a certificate of attendance?

People fail all the time and I believe that we are always being tested and even if we pass 100 times we are always going to be tested.

What kind of God would test your faith in Him? Doesn't that sound a bit OCD. Look at Job, his whole world is destroyed because God 'allows' the devil to test his faith.
A. why would God do something so awful?
B. If God is that cruel and psychotic, why would anyone want to have faith in Him?
Perhaps things simply happen in life and you turn to God for comfort or turn away in anger. It isn't a 'test of faith' God has placed upon you, but a simple life event. If God is to be worshipped, He should be worthy of worship. A LOVING God wouldn't test you or cause bad things to happen to you.

There is something behind that, There is a lesson that God wants us to learn, and He will bring it back into our lives again if He has to teach us the life lesson that we need to understand. James 1:2 tells us to count it all joy when we fall into various trials. There is a reason God wants us to learn the lessons He has set before us.

I don't know if He is testing our faith. He is not trying to make us not believe in Him. I think of it more as trial by fire. God puts us through hard times to get rid of our impurities like gold is sent through extremely hot temperature to get rid of its impurities. Some people will say they went through hell and back or experienced hell on earth and I think this is where it comes from. Its God's way of strengthening a person in their faith by pass or failure.

I tend to believe that I either have faith in something/ someone, or I don't. I'm sure God is extremely busy if He/She is sitting around testing and then retesting everyone on the Faith issue. I hope God is taking care of more important issues than that.
