At this time today, life expectancy is about 60 - 70 years. Just think at the time Adam sinned even he lived until he was 930 years old. So allllllllll the way down until now (about 7,000) our bodies grow more and more imperfect. We are suseptable to any new diseases or viruses, or just any ailment in this world. In 10 years we'll probably be averaging only about 50 to 60 years. The further we go into the future, the less perfect our bodies become.

We can thank Adam [and Eve] for this. But when Jesus volunteered himself from heaven, to come here and sacrifice his life for us, this gave us life back and after Armageddon those that truly love Jehovah God and his standards, his principles will experience death no more. Those ones will live a life of eternity on a paradise earth with no more death and no more evil; no wickedness.

What's interesting to note is that God told Adam and Eve that if they disobeyed him [eating from the tree of knowledge] that they would surely die in that day. Remember 2 Peter 3: 8:

..."One thousand years to us is but one day to God, and one day to God is but a 1,000 years". If we keep this in mind we know that he has not deserted us and is not slow to his promise to wipe out wickedness, tears, and loss of life for us. The last bad thing he will remove after Armageddon is death. There will be no more death.

So, we average about 60 to 70 years in this system we live in currently. That number is steadily declining, no matter the inventions and technologies in modern medicine.

Well once the plants are consumed (assuming they are eatable) the only source of food would be ourselves. Since bees are required to make certain products, we would have to quit being vegetarian in a month or two. After that, we will have to turn to ourselves for a source of food and since our population is close to 7 billion we would have a while before humans go extinct. maybe a week or maybe 7 months. In the meantime, some will die of starvation, being killed for food but most will die from malnutrition.

Each life is limited and no two lives are the same. The Word of God says that with obedience to Him, He has promised us 3 score + 10 years(70). But I do put emphasis on the OBEDIENCE.
