a athiest country, by majority, also following the path of Russia? If Russia would have been a country were the majority were Jewish would Russia still be a strong communist country? Should China become a Christian country or a Jewish country instead of a Athiest country?

China is an atheist country. I have family through marriage that was born and raised in China. They still live there. You should hear what they have to say about religion.

Russia collapsed for a myriad of reasons, mostly due to bad leadership. China is headed to be the world power in a short time. They're making the right moves while we have a blundering idiot in office. It doesn't help that we're so hellbent on stunting the growth of our country by ignoring possible technological breakthroughs with things like stem cell research.

No: they are both capitalist countries (their economies are based on wage labour and class division). China is a mixture of state and private capitalism, while Russia is predominantly private capitalist. Both were formerly state capitalist. There cannot be such as thing as a Communist country, because Communism (same as Socialism) must be a worldwide system. A moneyless classless stateless community where production takes place to meet human need could not exist in just part of the globe.

Russia was an Orthodox Christian country . It was just the state that didn't allow an official religion just like the USA.

I am not sure that calling Russia an Atheist country is accurate. Officially it was Atheistic, however, Orthodoxy never completely disappeared and was simply practiced behind closed doors. Really any country that can produce Dostoevsky cannot really be considered Atheistic, but that is just my opinion on that one.

Actually Sweden is the most atheist country. Russia and China have atheist governments, but very theistic populations.

Communism doesn't fail because of a lack of religion. Communism fails because its based on a flawed economic premise. If you understand what is supposed by Marx as the motive power for human production and also have even a rudimentary knowledge of economics and history then the only rational conclusion to make is that Communism fails because its central premise is wrong.

Confucianism is a religion that is tightly tied to the government in China, so it is not Atheist. The main religions in China are Buddhism, Confucuanism, and Taoism.

You're mixing two distinct issues. One is religion, one is a political/economic system. Russia's failure was because it was Communist, not because it was Atheist.
