You can buy some sand from the pet store (as some people have already mentioned!!)..
NEVER use a baby wipe on your hamster, it will get rash!
You can try using just a normal toilet paper to get it off, but gently! x Good luck.

My two young dwarf hamsters do this all the time. Every body says to let the hamster clean itself and others say to use sand.
I say don't use sand to clean a hamster but I don't know if it was the sand or it was something else after I clean my hamster it started sneezing.I use nice warm water not hot and not cold make sure the hamster head doesn't get wet.Now get a hairdryer put it on low if that don't work try high for a few minutes. Then dry with a towel because it should be moist still you could do this instead of hairdryer.Give the hamster a treat.

Never to bathe a hamster. Hamsters naturally bathe themselves multiple times a day.
Use pumice sand (sold as chinchilla sand) to bathe your hamster. You can get this in any pet shop, but make sure it's not chinchilla dust -- this will give your hamster breathing and eye problems.
Choose a little spot in the cage to put the sand in (you can use a little bowl for it) and the hamster can go clean itself in the sand any time it wants.
Change the pumice sand about every week or second week. If you find any waste in it (such as urine or excrement), be sure to change it.
Be sure to clean your cage every week no matter what
Also, if your hamster is really furry you might need to get a tooth brush for him and brush him every day.
Hope this helped =)

This happens to my hamster as well. I leave it alone and it usually comes off by itself after the little dear romps and rolls around a bit. Also, you can try putting your hammie in a dish of chinchilla bath powder. They instinctively roll around in the stuff. Not only should the poop fall off, the hamster should be cleaner and smell better too.

You could use Chinchilla sand, but otherwise it's not recommended you bathe a hamster. Hamsters clean themselves.

You can get these critter wipes at petsmart. I use them for my guinea pig. They look like baby wipes but they arent. I just wipe her down with them about once a week. It is just like giving them a bath.

Use a baby whipe. If you want to bathe him/her just use dog shampoo. And make the water a little bit warm. Not to cold though. I would recommend not bathing him/her but if you have to, just follow my instructions.
