Agnostic: One who believes it impossible to know if God exists.

What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of Faith.
Romans 9:30

Righteousness: Acting in a just, upright manner, virtuous. Morally right or justifiable.

That verse is telling us that there are people in the world who do not know God but yet live by and follow what is called righteousness in the gospels, even though that person does not know God.

LOL God...closet Atheist!!!
I don't give a rat's patooty where I go when I die, I believe the real suffering takes place on earth.
I don't call myself an Atheist just because there are some things I do believe, there are events that are unexplainable by science or logic (like the power of prayer)...this is what I call God.
I believe the bible should be referenced as a book pertaining to the era in which it was originally written, was subject to one too many translations, is taken too literally, & dislike how the church decides what we should and shouldn't see pertaining to the original writings.
I also believe that we all rest in peace when our time here has passed...I don't believe in hell.
There is more than one way to acheive enlightenment (Buddhism as an example) ...more than one path to God & we each take our own.
Other folks may hold different beliefs that identify themselves as Agnostic.

To be 'agnostic' is not to be sure whether there is a God or not.
But whether we believe in God or not, and given that the Bible is honest in what it says, meaning true, then we all will be complying with what it says.
We do NOT all go to heaven.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

We simply remain ' asleep' in death until resurrected.
(Psalm 13:3) Do look [upon me]; answer me, O Jehovah my God. Do make my eyes shine, that I may not fall asleep in death,

We do nothing while asleep.
This is why the Bible uses the term.

Agnostics believe that there may or may not be a god but they realize that no one can prove it either way.

I believe that they most definitely can get to Heaven (if heaven exists) despite what the Christians will tell you.

Agnostics are undecided..they say that they aren't sure whether they believe God or the Bible. And, no...agnostics will not go to heaven. The Bible says.."For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, that whosoever BELIEVES in Him, shall not perish but have eternal life."

Agnostics see no proof that a god exists and no proof that a god does exist. They see no reason to be concerned about it either way.
