There are very few people who are truly open minded. Virtually everyone gains biases, preferences and prejudices thoughout their life.
I try though. I have friends of many religions (Muslim, Christian, Buddist etc) and know people of many nationalities. Its not always easy be neutral when these diverse groups of people clash and when the media publishes so much hate and propaganda.
But it is worth it. The cultural input and diverse range of beliefs and philosophies has made my life richer.

I try & think for the most part I am, but no one is all the time. I try to remember that most of the time God speaks thru others, all others. He does not qualify who he uses by religion, age, gender, or enthic background, therefore I must never disreguard anything anyone says by any of these qualities either. If I am not open minded & vigilant, I might miss a really important message.

No. Open-mindedness is overrated.

The open-minded people I meet have let their minds get out instead of knowledge get in.

I open my mind enough to evaluate new ideas but then once I get those figured out I shut off that input. Otherwise you're rethinking things you already know. ("Do I really know the right way to tie my shoes?" "Even though I have no interest in sex with men, am I gay?" "Is my house the right color?" "Is this the quickest route to the grocery store?" etc.)

My mind is closed, with a permeable membrane that slows down thoughts as they enter so that I can see if they belong in the company of the others I already have. It also has become resistant over time, and outright blocks thoughts I've already considered and found unusable.

Yes. I'm open minded from the aspect that I'm not afraid to do research about everything before I reach a conclusion about something. It's helpful if you're trying to talk to the people that only understand their point of view.

About one-third of the way open! I believe in free choice, but I believe I should keep the Ten Commandments God wrote with His own finger in stone.
