That's the area that connects your left and right hemispheres.
The right hemisphere seems to contain all your love, humanity and insight. Your judgment should improve, increased intuition, love of people and an attitude change. Your relating to your whole self and can relate and understand people and yourself better. Ask the right brain any question and it will take you through the answer. Relationships improve because you are relating ideas and personalities and all good in the world with other good. You get more in touch with your feelings, but know how to handle them better. You feel full when you eat instead of mistaking spiritual, emotional emptiness with hunger. I lost 17 pounds, got more control over my anger and after about a year started getting positive reports from people of how wonderful I was. Shocking, to say the leasts. I hear "your right" and "that makes sense", not phrases I'm used to. Self control is another 'symptom' and faith, interest in spirituality.

If your third eye is starting to open then you will most likely start experiencing a few different things. You could either start seeing, hearing or feeling things that no one else can at that time. How it comes through depends on you.
Speaking from personal experience, I hear things and will be able to relay things that might not make sense to me but may to others either around me or that I know.
Just go with the flow and don't do anything that you are uncomfortable doing. Always keep in mind that you are the one in control and if you tell it to stop it better stop.

It means you can read, drive and watch a movie at the same time but you might want to double check those seat belts.....
