since he's really into music, try something really creative...like perform a short play about something memorable about his life and use some of his favorite music for the background sound, to punctuate special parts of the story. That way, you don't have to worry about money, and he'll never forget that...be careful, he'll probably tear up and bearhug you to death :)
GOD LUCK!

Hello,
I've got a couple of suggestions. I'm not sure what you are into but one thing I've found in the past that if you do have a little money you could take him out to eat for fathers day. Spend some one on one with him. I've done this in the past. I don't know if your dad likes books or not, but mine does. I have gone to a store and purchased a small book that is special for Fathers or that has short stories in it. I like to make things extra special so I wrote a note on the inside cover telling my dad how much he met to me.
If you don't have any money at all. You could make a card of your own and tell your dad how much he means to you. Decorate it with pretty much anything you want. Or you could get a picture frame and put a picture of the two of you together in it. Also writing a note on the back of the picture to you dad.
You dad won't care what you get him as long as it is from the heart and he knows you love him.
Good Luck
RAE

take a picture of you and him together. You should both dress and look like Elvis then create a slide show of it complete with a background music of the medley of Elvis songs. Or you could perform a song number dressing up like Elvis complete with a guitar to match then lip-sync your dad's favorite Elvis' song complete with actions and expressions. It would be better if you know how to play the guitar and sing his favorite song live.

Why not try to dress up like elvis and perform one of your dad's favorite songs for him. It's from the heart and sure to get a chuckle or two. I wouldn't worry if you can sing or not, the song isn't the point...it's the effort and thought put into it.
Or you could go with a tie. ;)

don't wash his car. Men are very sensitive about their cars, and how they're washed.
Sing him an elvis song, and dress up as elvis. Or if you don't want to do elvis,
just sing a regular song
