You should get him something not from your wallet but your heart.Do you guys have anything in common that you like to do? Does he like bowling, skating, ect. I am sure he will be thankful for whatever gift you give him. It is the thought that matters.

Go for a boys night out. Like clubbing, bar hopping, going to the disco. If you're not into it you could both go to the spa and rejuvenate yourselves. You could also go for bowling it's a fun sport. Or you could make a slide-show of your pictures complete with sounds I recommend the song "father and son". Or you could give him an iPod loaded with his favorite songs. Or just simply give him a tight hug and greet him a happy father's day and tell him that he has been a great father to you and you appreciate it so much.

get him a nice sappy card telling him you love him and thank him for being around. also add that you will miss him and wish you could be closer
give him a photo of him and you in a nice frame and add that have the same one with you to look at when you are thinking of him.
maybe put a calling card in the the card and tell him you want him to call ya, and that there will be no excuse,

How about a year's membership to a health club which would include steam baths, massages, the pool and the exercise room with an instructor.

what about having someone take a nice picture of you and put it in a fame, parents go nuts for things like that, since you are going to be gone for awhile. it's a moment in time that he will never forget.

You. Spend the day with him. Tell him what you have said here. He has everything else, all he is missing is his son.

Buy him a star and name it after him. You get a certificate and everything. The perfect gift for someone who has everything. Or a picture frame with a nice photo of yourself or both of you in it.
