Evolving from monkeys? Who believes THAT?? I certainly don't. That's not what evolution suggests at all.
And when it comes to "astrology, horoscopes, talking to the dead", well, personally, I think that's a bunch of hooey.

It is true that many find it difficult to believe in omnipotent god the creator. Each religion has its god and there are creators too. The Christian God is the God for Christians. The Christians comprise the majority of any religion. But those who fall outside Christianity believe or disbelieve in their God.
With globalisation, man is moving further from god. It's easier to be commericial than religious. If you think about the good things of life, the straight and narrow path does not look appealing.
It's then easy to start believing in things lie astrology and wishful thinking and even talking to the dead.
You can't stop a person from believing in trivia if they are inclined to because of the shallowness of their lives.
With the progress of science, common man has benefitted enormously. The ordinary person takes inventions like jet travel, television, and the internet for granted. People are getting to be more shallow and attracted to the glitzy. This is a downslide.
On the other hand, there are terrorists who kill in the name of their own almighty god. Whether they believe in astrology I don't know. Their indoctrination makes them dangerous. These people perhaps are jealous of the affluent west. They hide their jealousy and take the name of god for their abominable acts.
To get back to your question it's easier to believe in astrology then the powers God has.

I do not believe in God, Astrology, Horoscopes, talking to the dead, or that the human species evolved from monkeys.

There is NO evidence of god. I doubt any thinking person believes in astrology and horoscopes or talking to the dead. If you are attributing those things to non-believers or atheists, you have no idea what they are about.
As for evolving from monkeys, we did NOT evolve from Monkeys any more than every car on the road is a Ford because that was the first car. We share a common ancestor. Are you your great-great-great-great grandmother? No, you are YOU, but you share that GGGGGrandmother with many other family members. Same thing with us and apes.
Please... you go find some common sense and then come back and we'll talk...
Go ahead...
I'll wait right here...

I understand what you mean.
Some people are willing to put their faith in evolution (it does not matter whether it is monkey or austrolopethicus- the genome is different- this is different from natural selection which is expression of dormant genes- THE FACT IS IT IS FAITH-there is no recorded experimental data-it is still an unproven hypothesis based on the fossil record), astrology, and psychic phenomena but not in Our Well Wisher- The Supreme Personality of Godhead.
The reason is because people accept whatever it is to support their desires. God requires admission of a Greater or something completely out of our ordinary paradigms- many people dont wanna think out of the''box''. This is done for many by blind faith (which is better than no faith), fewer by logical faith -based on reason, and rarely on the basis of realisation of the truth (the best-the goal of religion/spirituality is not simply just to believe in something- there is more). This realisation is characterised symptoms and signs, so not any fool can make such a statement.

Astrology and horoscopes is just as silly as believing in god.
I think you should do some research on evolution because you're way off base. The theory of evolution doesn't state that we evolved from monkeys.

Most atheists are skeptical about more than a god. They also don't buy into the astrology crap. Actually, that's mostly Christians, according to statistics. Talking to the dead is the same thing - superstition. Evolution has been empiracally proven, no matter how many times you deny it. You obviously don't understand it, because no one is saying we evolved from monkeys - just the people who don't actually know what evolution is. Of course it doesn't make sense to you. Try taking a science course.

There are some people who thinks people who believe in things like astrology and horoscopes, talking to the dead, evolving from monkeys are nuts and yet they themselves believe there is an imaginary omnipotent master which is powerless when it comes to show himself.
What do you think?

I am a Christian... but I also believe in the Theory of Evolution.. I believe it is our poor way of attempting to explain how God created, and is still creating, the world around us.
There is nothing is evolution that goes against Christianity
And for those who think evolution says we come from monkeys... Get some education... it is apparent you have never studied the topic.

I don't believe in any of that stuff.
Do you? Because I think you are absolutely correct.
Believing in god, astrology, horoscopes, talking to the dead, and evolving from monkeys, is all a bunch of hooey. And no intelligent person should be involved in such nonsense.
Doesn't make sense to me either.
