Yeah. If you were there for the fall of Saigon, then you should now that we should have pulled out of there long before. Or, rather, not been there in the first place.

Now, why will you laugh? I'm going to hang my head and try to keep from saying "I told you so."

how funny that you can bash the country that lets you post on a message board without being censored.
Ask those nice people in Russia, Or Argentina how they can post. If they can post.
Stop blaming Vietnam, Stop blaming Iraq. Our soldiers and Marines are there and they need your support instead of bashing them, Remember how you felt when you got back and no one cared? Except me. I had a bracelet of the Vietnam POW wrapped around my wrist. Remember those?

Some soldiers will say that your not right, but soldiers are not paid to think anyways, it is why they have officers... But those officers, if they were capable to choose, they would have pull out of that place fast enough. The US is not wanted there, excepted a very small minority, so why forced its way like a blade in a lung...
Anyways, laughing about life loss is not really a show of respect, even if they have done the ultimate sacrifice for a reason we don't approved doesn't mean that history will judge them as we see them. What is happening in Iraq may only shows its effect in 10 years or more from now, so you have plenty of time to see if the US was wrong.

Why do you hate America? Libs didn't support Vietnam and they are doing the same to Iraq. Are you related to Ho Chi Minh? Or General Vo Nguyen Giap? Did you have an affair with Hanoi Jane? C'mon you can tell us. It will be our little secret.

well keep hoping....USA is not going anywhere for decades.
its obvious that president bush isn't going to pull out and what will the next democratic president say after pulling out of Iraq.....that sorry we had to pull out because the al-qaida was fighting and killing our troops????
not gonna happen.
even though i am a republican i am actually hoping for a democratic president for at least one term so we can finally have the entire country on the same page about keeping our commitments in Iraq.
any way you want to look at it....the next president will not pull out of Iraq and loose against al-quida...specially not after sept 11th.
so keep hoping....its not gonna happen....and this is not vietnam or 1975.

Whether you are for or against the war doesn't come into play.
You will laugh because you lack the basic sense Patriotism, that states when Americas ashamed Americans are shamed, when Americas proud Americans are proud.

Well you must be an old fogey by now if you were there in Saigon at the time, but its hard to say what will happen in Iraq Ive read stories and articles even seen pictures of the new US embassy theyre building in Bagdad,so I doubt if theyre going anywhere soon. Also Halliburtons are setting up shop in Saudi Arabia so you can expect some country over that way is gonna be trashed, in the near future so Cheney can send his boys in to rebuild. Im amazed that most Americans dont seem to give a stuff about Cheney and Rummys little Ordo Ab Chao games...I mean 650,000 dead Iraqi civilians so Cheney, Bush and Rummy can get rich??? what thehell good is all those hundreds of billions when they die or get assasinated?

What's this "we" crap, sand turd? You can laugh at any thing you want because you are hiding behind your wife and kids under your cow poop house so no one can hurt you. So go out and have sex with your goat again while you live your puke coward life in that cat box you call a country.

What's to laugh about? Those who caused the war have got what they wanted and are all very comfortable. Americans have been killed and those who supported the war out of ignorance are confused and looking for 'danged liberals' to blame. America is exposed as weak and incapable of diplomacy.

If you laugh, the only others laughing with you will be Halliburton managers and shareholders. And Israel.
