I do every day. But then I spend a lot of time with my 4-year old son and we have fun doing it.

Yes, I own up to it and even wear it like a badge of honor.

Half the fun of life is making a fool of yourself. If you can't laugh at yourself why bother being alive.

Sometimes I go out of my way to be a fool, sometimes it comes naturally. Either way I did it, and I enjoyed it.

Own up to ones mistakes/making a fool of yourself then brush it off. Lifes to short to worry about it.

One time when I was walking to my car, I was texting at the same time. I wasn't paying attention and totally tripped on the cracks in the pavement. I ate it bad!!! The contents of my purse came flying out and landed everywhere. There were alot of people around, but I just laughed at myself and picked up my things. On the inside I was so embarressed, but I didn't want to show it.

Another instance where I didn't act so calmly. I was waiting at the baggage claim for my suitcase to come down. I had taken a suitcase that had one broken zipper. I crammed it full of my christmas presents and as I was thinking about them I saw a suitcase come down that was open and tossed inside one of those big plastic bins. There was all of my clothes, shoes, and underwear all over the baggage claim thing going around and around in front of everyone! I was so embarressed. When people starting handing me my socks and bras, I lost it. I started crying and this couple took pity on me and helped me with everything.

So it depends on how bad I make a fool of myself. I should have been watching where I was going and I shouldn't have used a suitcase that already had a broken zipper...Lol. I can laugh about it now.

It depends on how serious the issue is. If it's merely my pride that has been wounded, I pick myself up, dust myself off, and go about my business. If I've hurt someone, I do my best to make amends, and THEN pick myself up.... ;-)

I don't seem to do it as often now that I'm in my 50s... maybe it just took me some time to get it right!

I make a fool of myself everyday. If it's something bad, then I confess it to God and to anyone I've hurt by my actions. If it's just being silly, then I laugh and have a good time with it. Peace.

At least once a day. Yes I own up to it. Part of being a responsible person is owning up to things you do bad, wrong or indifferent and never bragging about what you did right.

pretty often, I try and own up to it, but sometimes it's hard. I just want to say I'm sorry if I ever offended anyone on here. You guys are like family to me. One strange yet interesting family.

First off, I don't.

Second, the reason you're asking this is probably because it happened to you, and you want to know how we on yahoo answers deal with it. I suggest you brush it off.

Daily.

I can be more prideful than I’d like to admit. I’m more like a cat that walks into a wall and then tries to pretend like I meant to do it.
:o)
