Do you think, or believe that there will be "spiritual" sex or something similar to it in the afterlife?

I think sex is such a unique experience and feeling, I can't imagine that it's purely physical and will have no part in the soul's eternal existence.

This is an interesting question and nobody has pointed out this nuance:

Jesus said that in heaven we are like the angels -- neither married nor given in marriage. Paul said that marriage is a picture of Christ's relationship with the church. So in heaven, when we no longer "see through a glass darkly" but rather "face to face" our relationship with Christ will be perfected and the temporal "picture" of that relationship will no longer be needed.

I believe that the believer's relationship with Jesus Christ in heaven will replace the intimate emotional and physical needs that are met by the marriage relationship in this life. I believe the phrase "better than sex", which some people toss around like a throw pillow, will take on a new meaning in heaven.

I think that's a biblical point of view, but I wouldn't stake my eternal security on it.

Hmmm - well that is an interesting question

I always envisioned a complete end to the body and it's needs and desires - A state of pure thought energy - so if sex is defined as a connection then yes but it would be a temporary mergeing of minds so as to have complete empathy and understanding of the other.

Or maybe there is spirit sex and thats how you get little spirits?

Either way it's pretty up in the air till you get there I guess

No, that's not what Jesus described.

The same day Sadducees came to him, who say that there is no resurrection, and they asked him a question, saying, "Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies having no children, his brother must marry the widow and raise up children for his brother.' Now there were seven brothers among us. The first married and died, and having no children left his wife to his brother. So too the second and third, down to the seventh. After them all, the woman died. In the resurrection, therefore, of the seven, whose wife will she be? For they all had her." But Jesus answered them, "You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Sex is a carnal thing, a gift given by God for married couples to enjoy with each other. In Heaven, there won't be such things. Because we will have such joy there that the ways of the world will be meaningless and unnecessary. There will be great intimacy between all people in Heaven. But, it won't be a sexual thing. It will be perfect love in the spirit. Peace.

No. Since sex is a physical act designed for procreative purposes there is no need for it in an after life.

If you believe in the Bible, no. It clearly says that there will be no giving or taking in marriage. It also says that sex outside of marriage is a sin. Since Heaven is a perfect place, there can be no sin.

I'm atheist, but if I went by Christian teachings I'd say there wouldn't be. They say in marriage, "Until death do you part." Meaning, once one spouse dies they are no long "married," and the only time you can have sex is inside marriage.

Well I don't know about anyone else, but I plan on having sex with a young Marilyn Monroe, that is if she'll have me.
