I don't quite understand your question although I feel your anguish. You mentioned your "cowboy hat" so I'm wondering if your talking about your wife/girl friend or horse? Time cures all hurt so just forgive her whether shes a woman or your saddle mare and wait till you can think clearer before "sleeping her away for good."

It is always right to forgive and forget!

Hi:

I know that is how you feel now, but it time you will feel better. When you do feel better, you will think more clearly. Yes you loved her, yes she loved you but something, somewhere happened to get inbetween that love.

You are not destined to love only one person in this life, but I do believe that there is only one true love for each of us. Now, as silly as this sounds (my grams used to tell me this) and now it kind of makes sense in it's own way. You have been hurt, yes it's ok to cry, sometimes if you don't feel the pain, the hurt can come back. But if you go ahead and feel the pain, and you will learn, in you heart what made you feel the pain the first time and you will be a little more cautious next. It is not word for word, but it is what I remember and now as an adult, I see the meaning she often tried to teach me.

Do what Grams said to do, let yourself be hurt, just dont dwell there, feel it know it accept it, get up and begin again. or so the saying goes...try and try again. When is it ok to stop trying? When you succeed.

I wish you well
Be safe and be well

No dear, its all wrong. You picked her, you put up with her and excused her behavior so far. Learn from it and pick better next time.
