My mom died of pancreatic cancer, five years later my dad died of leukemia. You are not alone. It's very tragic to lose one's loved one from cancer, let alone lose them at all! God bless you.

I was 7 when my grandfather past away. He had skin cancer, lung cancer and other ones I cant remember. It was over 20 years ago. I remember they had to cut his entire ear off because the cancer was so bad. Right before he passed away his skin had turned completly yellow. My other granfather and grandmother are fighting cancer now, my grandmother just finished cemotherapy. It is one of the hardest things to lose someone from because they suffer so much more and for so long.

My mother lost her brother to lung cancer. Several years later, I lost my mother to a form of leukemia. Just last year, my cousin (son of the uncle mentioned above) lost his battle with a form of brain cancer, and just last week, HIS cousin lost his battle with stomach cancer.
Cancer is demeaning to the patient, painful for all involved, and unmerciful. And although it's not easy, and you might not ever truly get over it, you CAN cope each day by treasuring your mother's memory. You do this by meditation on the fine life lessons she taught you, and conducting yourself accordingly.
It's really the best way to honor the memories of our loved ones.
I wish you all good things.

Hi Jesus. I am a lot older than you but I have lost my mom, my uncle, and my aunt to cancer.
Remember that your mom will always be with you now - she is in your heart.
Best wishes.
