hi , using microsoft word when i add border and shading (page border) , and when i c print preview?

hi , using microsoft word when i add border and shading (page border) , and when i c print preview ,the lowe horizontal line of the page border i used , never appear in the preview. even when i print ,the lower horizontal line not in the print?
why ?
how to correct? i am using ms 2003

Sometimes page border requires a little trial and error.

Open your document.
click the print preview button
on the print preview toolbar, click the magnifier button
---this will allow you to make some changes and see them immediately

click File
click Page Setup
can you set all margins to 1" -- top, bottom, left, right
click Format
Borders & Shading
Page Border
Options
where it says "measure from" - click the down arrow to select text

if there are checkmarks in "surround header and footer," click them to remove

you should be o.k. now
close the print preview

Change the margins at the bottom of the page to at least .5"

Your line is probably below your printing margin. fix this by moving the slider on the side and or top of the screen. It should fix your problem.
