50% Mexican
25% Spanish
25% Italian

Father = 50% Spain, 50% Mexico
Mother = 50% Italian, 50% Mexico

Rule of Thumb here: if 2 different races mix, cut each in half and give to the child. if 2 of the same race mix, give 100% of that race to the child. In this case:

50% Spanish + 50% Italian = 25% Spanish, 25% Italian
50% Mexican + 50% Mexican = 50% Mexican

Being born in Mexico does not make a person "Mexican".
Mexican is actually the same as people here in the US being called Americans. Its not a race, but a nationality.
People in Mexico, regardless of what they would like to believe are of mixed decent, unless full blooded aztec, which I doubt. As you can see alot of people from Mexico are blonde and light eyed. Most of those people are mixed Irish and Indian, others may be of spanish/indian decent.....
My daughter's father is always boasting about the MARTINEZ's, the whole viva la raza thing and so on, I found it funny when he recently found out the Martinez clan had a few MCDOUGALS in there......
In spain, there are also Basque.
So unless you are absolutely positive as to wether or not your grandparents were full bloods, there is no way of telling how much of any one race you might be.

I would think you would classify yourself as Hispanic. If you want to be more specific, you're half Mexican, one-quarter Spanish, and one-quarter Italian.
