In 1890, Wilford Woodruff (President and Prophet of the LdS Church) issued the Manifesto in 1890 which officially ended all new polygamous relationships. The Manifesto is now included in the Doctrine and Covenants (one of the 4 volumes of Scripture used by the LdS Church) as Official Declaration #1.
There are a few "Fundamental" groups which do not recognize Wilford Woodruff annd still practice polygamy (There are rounghly 3,000 polygamists in Utah). Both the federal and state government leave them alone as long as bigamy is their only crime. Warren Jeffs was prosecuted for forcing 14-year-old girls into marriage which constitutes accessory to statutory rape; he was not apprehended for his own polygamous relationships.

No....there's a small sect of Mormons who have broken away from the Church who believe in polygamy.
So to have lots of wives you have to join that sect.

I'M sorry to bust your bubble but we do not practice polygamy any more. We did many many years ago but we do not....If any Mormons have more than one wife/husband then they excommunicated.
