Gino's East for some great Deep Dish Chicago Pizza http://www.ginoseast.com You can even write on the walls and place your mark on Chicago before you leave.
There is also Ed Debevic's which is great if your gonna have family with you. Its a 50's diner theme restaurant where all the servers are made up to be "intresting" characters.
Both are an easy 2-3 min cab ride away at the intersection of Ontario & Wells.

There are only a few to be honest. Most all are not in the theatre district. The best place to go is Macy's seventh floor it's gourmet in a minute fast food. Not pricey and very good eats. They rest are all sandwich's shops and boring and tasteless trust me I am there daily.
Good Luck you'll love Wicked Dee is great but Kristy Cates and Stephanie Block were the best. It is worth going to see.

Don't limit yourself to walking distance when you can be dropped off free by the free trolley service Chicago has.
You can go to anywhere you want along a trolley route and be delivered right to State Street free. Downtown Chicago is a blast to get lost around. Walk up and down Michigan Ave and you'll be near State Street too.

Try the Walnut Room on the 7th Floor of Macy's (on State St. between Randolph and Washington). They have good food and it is moderately priced. Nice ambiance as well. It has been open since Marshall Field's opened basically. There is also the Atwood Cafe on Washington and State. A little more pricey but nice ambiance as well. Catch 35 is good but pricey. Hope this helps and enjoy Wicked...it was a great show!
