Hit me. Like a Mack Truck.

Never wanted to be married or have kids and then around 25 I developed a serious craving for domesticity.

I am married, but infertile.

Ain't life grand?

It hit me and in a bad way. I found out I was pregnant because I became deathly ill. I was carted off to the hospital unable to do much more then breath. I had gotten a very bad case of food poisoning. They did a pregnancy test and found out I was pregnant then rushed to a bigger hospital in fear it was a tubal pregnancy.

In the end I did have a beautiful baby boy that I would not trade for the world. So even though I was hit I am happy with the bruise.

First one was planned, second one was a hit I was on the pill when I became pregnant and they are only 18 months apart. But glad it happened that way.

I got hit twice, and my biggest accomplishments in life. My husband just got home from annual training for the reserves and woke up in the middle of the night. Needless to say, that was how our daughter was conceived :-) I'm the living testament that you can get pregnant after one time...

I've always wanted children; I think for those of us who love kids, it's not either...you just know. And that is even more real of course when you fall in love and knowthat person will be there for you and any kids you have. My husband and I are having our first now, after suffering a miscarriage a bit ago, and it is the best feeling in the world.

My son was planned, and he is my pride and joy. I also had an unplanned pregnancy which ended in miscarriage in the 10th week. I was both sad and relieved at the same time.
