the theory of being an atheist is that , one must be 100% SURE there is no god.

but no atheist has all-knowledge!

so thereotically speaking, like what atheists like to do, believe in theories, atheists cannot exist! get it?

religion is different. we have the composite of faith accompanied by evidence.

so theoretically speaking, there can never be atheists.

i see most atheists say that "i do have to be 100% sure there is no god. i just don believe there is a god"

such a weak and lame excuse........ if you JUST BELIEVE there is no god, it is either by 100% knowledge, or FAITH.

so if you claim to have 100% knowledge, you are a liar.

so if you claim to have faith in being an atheist, then you are like us christians. but faith in 2 cute rocks banging against each other, and faith in fishes becoming apes.

YES! no atheist is 100% SURE!!!!

so, atheism is a flop, a surface belief. you see from the outside, it is so beautiful and complicated. you pry it open.... TA DA! EMPTY!

EX CHRISTIAN,

i pray for you. by faith, we know God exists. we know He just exists. by faith, it is a fact. not by knowledge.

Both atheists and believers at some point must make a leap of faith since neither side has enough evidence to support their corresponding theories to point where there theories are actuality truly justified

By the way you logic is pathetically flawed. I hope you were joking if not you need to Learn the basic principles of a philosophical argument, than try posting a new question

You are suffering from a disease called "lack of education." There is a cure though. Get a dictionary, and look up the word "atheist." You will discover that it actually means "one who believes that there is no deity." (Merriam-Webster) This means that atheists BELIEVE there is no god. There is no such thing as 100% sure. Your "theory" failed to be a true theory in your first statement.
And for the record, there is no verifible, emphirical evidence for the existence of god that would survive the standards of real evidence as determined by the scientific community as a whole.

This is a piss-poor straw-man argument. Look up the word atheist in a dictionary. It will tell you that atheists do not believe there is a God. Nowhere does it say that atheists claim to know with 100% certainty that there isn't a God. And it doesn't mean that atheists are weak in their beliefs, it means they aren't dishonest, and it means that they are logical enough to know that they don't know 100% of everything in the universe. Unlike believers, though, when we don't know something, we're willing and able to just say "we don't know". We don't need to attach a supernatural significance to things we don't understand. WE are on a constant search for the TRUTH, unlike those who just blindly follow whatever their parents and preachers taught them to believe, and refuse to search any further. And unlike those who are too lazy to allow their curiosity to venture further than the cop-out "Goddidit" whenever we hit a wall in our understanding of life and the universe.

"we have the composite of faith accompanied by evidence"--You have evidence? Where? I'd be really interesting in seeing that.

And you really should be embarrassed to say "by faith, we know God exists. we know He just exists. by faith, it is a fact. not by knowledge." That's basically saying that you're proud of your willful ignorance.

Atheists don't believe in a god. They don't have to be 100% sure that he doesn't exist. Are you 100% sure that God exist? No. According to you humans can't be 100% sure of anything, so..

YOU AREN'T A REAL CHRISTIAN.

Are you 100% sure that there is no Santa Claus, or Tooth Fairy or Easter Bunny????

If a group of people felt the need to worship those "entities" wouldn't they be just as crazy as you guys?? I mean, after all, they don't have all-knowledgeand can't prove they DON'T exist..so why not let them worship them???

So, theoretically speaking, there can never be nonbelief in Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy, or the Easter Bunny.

I'm not an atheist but I think you are misinformed as to what atheism is: One who believes their is no God and rejects all religious faith and practice. One does not have to be 100% sure to believe or not believe in something

Like I just wrote, when people read the bible logic goes over their heads. Do you have any commom sense at all?

NO ONE is 100% sure of anything. EXCEPT that there is no proof one way or the other as to the existence of God.

there is no hard scientific evidence that god exists.

If our beliefs can be made real by faith alone, i can believe in anything from pink unicorns to flying spaghetti monsters and it will be real if i can get enough people to believe it.

By the way, your "evidence" is the bible and religious texts, that is easy enough to create. Just ask scientologists

Magical invisible lizards might exist to because no one has ever provided evidence for them not existing. You can not be sure a 100% they don't exist..... as a matter a fact we have ones that change color...... so being invisible is very close. With that kinda evidence we should all conclude they exist and worship them......

No, I'm not 100% sure of anything unlike Christians. I just don't put my faith in what you think is God.
