i lift 3 -4 times a week, cardio 4-5, im 16 weight 175, 6ft 1. how many scoops of whey protein ( 25g or so per serving ) should i have a day ? my goal is to build muscle, tone up, but NOT to gain weight. any help aprreciated

i believe your suppose to have 1 or 1.5 grams of protien per pond on your body so it be like 175grams for you

if your a power lifter, you need the same amount of protein IN GRAMS as you weigh in pounds. You need about 175 grams protein a day, if you want to lose weight, add some cardio every day to your schedule, but limit it to less than 30 minutes, so you dont interfere with muscle recovery. Make sure you take the protein only after a workout, 2 scoops after a workout should be ok, eat food before your workout, take protein after.

Try to get 1-2 grams per pund (175-350). Probably shoot for the lower side, but that is with total protein not just supplementation. Supplement whey right after lifting or cardio.

When you gain muscle you are going to gain weight, which is technically body mass unless you go on a Newton scale.
