It isn't that you need to be good at geometry. You need to be very smart. Smart enough so that just about any subject in school will be fairly easy for you.

To be a doctor, probably in high school you will take chemistry and probably physics and calculus, and then in college you will take biochemistry and organic chemistry. Then in med school you have to take four years of hard studies. If you are having a lot of problems with geometry, I think you are going to have a lot more problems with those advanced subjects.

Besides being smart, you also need to be extremely hard working and dedicated. If you really REALLY want to be a doctor you will find a way to succeed at geometry.

Good luck.

Geometry is almost pointless after high school. Unless you're an architect or engineer. Then I highly recommend you get it down now.

The things that will help you for medical school are your physical and life sciences. Biology, chemistry, anatomy, even zoology and physiolgy.

You shouldn't focus too much on being a doctor until you are certain you can get and undergrad in a science. Think broad range. If you do become a doctor you've got a long road ahead. Each year will become noticeably more strict and confined.Don't confine yourself to certain subjects early on trying to narrow yourslelf down to a certain practice. Be good at being general.

And forget about geometry--it's pointless:-)
