Okay okay, you've heard all the theories of what that light was, now heres the actual factual that you can research yourself to find real truth. Research the 1st sentence in Genesis, where it states "God created the heavens and the earth...", when you go back to Aramic Hebrew the word used in the same place you see created is (barashiyth) which means to replinish or redo, thats why in genesis also god commands Adam&Eve to multiply and replinish/refill the earth just like he commanded Noah after the flood, which means it was plinished/filled b4, something happened, and now god commands for the earth to be filled again. If I drink a glass of water, and get somemore its called a refill, thats why the RE is put at the beginning of the words. Basically, the bible is not the real beginning of time or life, there was life here, we had a cataclismic event happen here that destroyed life including most of the dinasours, it cause a big cloud of smoke to block out the sun, and when god was ready for life to spawn here again, he commanded the wind to blow back the smoke which is what is spoken about in genesis when gods spirit moved upon the waters, and doing this allowed the sun to shine upon the earth again, thus this is the light spoken of.

Dear Aum, I am not all that enlightned to give a any sort of answer to "I am that light". I am not yet ready to leave this earthly pleasures /sufferings right now to seek enlightment. All i know right now is that some guy by the name Edison invented/discovered this light/bulb because of which we are living with a bulb/tube light over our head in the night.
And what do mean by " are you the dust".
No I am certainly not dust and this has got nothing to do with light. What is the relationship between light and dust?

There is one Power in the Universe and I am (you are) the perfect manifestation of that Power.
Dust and light are one and the same.

"Then I will tell you a great secret, Captain. Perhaps the greatest of all time. The molecules of your body are the same molecules that make up this station and the nebula outside, that burn inside the stars themselves. We are starstuff, we are the universe made manifest, trying to figure itself out. As we have both learned, sometimes the universe requires a change of perspective."

" Let there be Light " . . . Let there be form brought to life. Light illuminates...What was once Thought is brought to Experience. " Whose eyes opened to experience seeing the physical light of the earth ? These physical beings.

Dust " brought to life by the " Breath " of " God" the One Light. Life breathed into " shells " of human form. I am " dust "...I am cells...I am soul Light living a human experience...I am both that " dust " that you speak of and the Light . . . I am this one aspect of the Light of " God " the One. We are all one...we are all the Light.

Open thine eyes (truly) and see the not just the beautiful light of the earth...yet also the Light of " God " the One...Love.

Neither, I'm guy who is going to be lighting a smoke whilst the angel pours forth his bowl and a voice in the wilderness says

"it is done".

Then I'm going to tap him on the shoulder and say sweetly

"Want to bet on that old chap?" before kicking him squarely in the nuts.

Mankind just is... we need no classifications from out of date dogma to define us. WE shape our destiny and WE choose what we are.Its all a matter of strength of will and honour, its all about "Will to Power"... try reading German existentialism for a change, its better for you then all that arcane claptrap.

PS..Your not being enigmatic with your post scriptural addition , your just boring the hell out of me. Light is Light, Dark is Dark And Dust can be made up of just about anything...mostly dirt and sand statistically. Theologically "light" is normally synonymous with "goodness" and "Truth" (meaning GOD, who is biblical absolute truth). Beyond monotheistic religion "light" is enlightenment or a metaphor for "living in goodness". Darkness is a metaphor for the absence of Light, for evil or the lack of truth... or just what we call the absence of illumination. Dust tends to be used as a metaphor for those unwilling to grasp what ever "truth" a religion wants to sell... This is not Philosophical rocket science!

If you want to debate this go do a philosophy degree or join a seminary first... (Yawn)

Sometimes I am light, other times I am dust. Dual nature of man, we are essentially good but sometimes we choose to be bad.
