I have a Chi and it only takes me 15 min. to straighten my hair ( and I have lots of it)as opposed to the Revlon one. It also heats up a lot quicker. They are a little pricey but worth it! Invest in one. It will be the best thing you ever did.
Whatever you decided to get make sure it's ceramic. Less change of hair damage.

in case you propose the straightening irons, convinced, they do damage hair. The implement itself isn't the area, inspite of the indisputable fact that the those that use them. maximum do no longer comprehend a thanks to apply them wisely, and overheat their hair, or do it even as the hair isn't thoroughly dry. Moisture contained in the hair even as heated will create steam and "explode" the hair on the interior and then in some months, when you've forgotten what you've executed, will the hair come aside and also you do not comprehend why. extremely some the nice and comfy temperature secure practices products might want to paintings slightly, yet ideal use of the irons is what you want to do. keep in mind that once the wear and tear is executed, you won't be able to fix it. each and every thing works. yet you want to apply the right device contained in the right thanks to get the outcomes you want. using the incorrect device contained in the incorrect way on the incorrect hair will continually create a multitude.

Have your hair chemically straightened ONLY by a professional hairdresser with experience. Or use a flat iron to temporarily straighten your hair.
I recommend the "True Ceramic Pro" iron.

Revlon has a good straightener.

But yes if you do it a lot and turn the heat up to 15 or so, yes you can damage your hair by making it thin and weak.

If you want a really good straightener, try going to ULTA and getting their CHI straightener. I use that one and it straightens my hair really well with less application.
If you want a lower priced one.
Hot Tools or Revlon sells some pretty good ones.
Good luck.

My friends uses a starightener that works really well. You can also use flat iron spray to keep your hair non-frizz.
