Try a "Kong" for big dogs. Dogs love them because you can put treats in them.

Get stronger toys that can't be destroyed so easily. Some suggestions: A Kong that you can stuff with peanut butter and biscuits or other things, Nylabones- they are tough- not the cornstarch or edible kinds though, just the hard plastic ones. The ends can be worn down eventually and then you discard them and replace with new ones. Heavy duty tug toys that you only bring out when you are actively playing with your dog or your dog is playing with other dogs, Childs wading pool that you can fill part of the way with water and let your dog bounce around in it with some tough water toys (like the kind used for training hunting dogs). Stick with the very tough stuff.
Ask in pet stores for toys that are extremely durable for dogs that are very very hard on toys.

Well, taking your dog for a walk at leats once a day helps with any destructive behvior.
Also, try buying sturdier toys, like rawhides, or kongs. they last awhile.

definately try a kong. it's a really strong red rubber thing that even helps clean dog's teeth. it is hollow so you can put a treat or something inside of it so your dog keeps on chewing at it
