I don't feel like taking care of my dog any more. I was thinking of just driving him out to the woods and letting him go.. should I wait till winter time?

I know you are just a troll, but this raises a good point?
Why do think it is preferable to let a dog go loose out in the woods on by the side of the road, than to at least take it to a shelter, where it will be warm and dry and if it must be euthanized, will at least have a caring human with it til the end?
Cowardice? Irresponsibility? Stupidity? Evil?

If you don't want to take care of your dog then the best thing to do is to take him to a near by shelter or rescue group. You should never just dump a dog in the woods thinking it will be better for him/her. If you can't find a friend or someone to take the dog then take it to the shelter.

Please take your dog to the pound or somewhere that he has a chance. Don't ever get another pet. Animals are not to be thrown away for any reason and to let him loose in the woods or anywhere else is cruel.

Take him to your local dog shelter. They will try to find him a good home.
You had the time to find this dog, now be a responsable person and do the right thing.

Why don't you just send him to a shelter! It's MEAN to just put him in the woods and let him die. How would you feel if someone did that to you?

Oh my god i hate people like you! that is so mean to your dog.and that is animal abuse!!! you wouldn't take a little baby out to the woods in the freezing cold and just abandon it! take it to an animal shelter at least, for the animals sake

i would not just drop him off just anywhere.. isn't there a shelter that you could take him to? that way you know he will get food and water and potentially get adopted. that is really cruel to just leave him somewhere just because you don't feel like taking care of him. how would you feel if your dad just dropped you off somewhere cause he didn't want to take care of you?
