MILK SHAKES

Make either chocolate or vanilla shakes by choosing different ice cream.

EQUIPMENT:

Measuring cups
Electric blender
Ice cream scoop or large spoon
Rubber scraper
2 tall glasses

INGREDIENTS:

3/4 c. milk
2 c. vanilla or chocolate ice cream

1. Pour milk into the blender container. Add half of the ice cream. Cover with the lid. Blend until smooth. Stop and scrape the sides using the rubber scraper, as needed.
2. Add the rest of the ice cream. Cover and blend just until smooth, stopping and scraping as needed. Pour into glasses. Makes 2 servings.

Take the glass you are planning to put the shake in and put scoops of ice cream in until it is full. Add about 1/2 cup of milk. Dump into the blender and add whatever other ingredients you want (chocolate, vanilla extract, strawberries, etc.).

about 21/2 to 3 scoops of ice cream (vanilla flavoured), 1 1/4 inch of milk.

maybe you can try adding mint flavoured, cream filled chocolate cookies?

sorry I just add ice cream and milk and go with it I do not measure as that is too much and messy to do.
My husband and family love it when we make shakes.they are a great dessert when you have the right ice cream.

Don't forget, you can always add more ice cream to thicken it, or more milk to thin it if you're not happy with how it turns out.
