That's blood pressure medicine. It won't do anything for anxiety, unless it makes you sleepy enough to fall asleep. You want something like, depending on drug interactions, Zanax or Valium for your anxiety issues.

I take 1 - 1.5mg of Klonopin a day for anxiety and panic attacks. I have a fear of flying. I still have that fear but I think the Klonopin would make me feel a bit better about getting on a plane. Honestly, I think I'd need more than 1mg to be able to relax while in the air but that's just me. I have terrible anxiety about everything already.

The person who said it was blood pressure medication is a fool.

It would certainly help your fear of flying! 1 mg is a good dosage! .25 mgs is the starting out dose and 2 mgs is the most I believe. If you don't think it's enough, pop two of them!

No drug will help you overcome your fear of flying. The drug will only lesson to some degree the amount of anxiety you feel while flying. To get rid of the fear you need professional help. Remember....Statistically you're safer up there in a plane than in your own car.
