No matter how you wrap your hair at night, it's going to have some wavy or kinky spots from when you change positions. Rather than trying to hold still all night, or find a way to never move your hair, and lose the quality of sleep, a better idea is to purchase a better quality flat iron.
I am referring to the "True Ceramic" brand flat iron. When you use it, you hair can stay straight for 2 or 3 days. If you need a slight touch up in the morning, you won't need a lot of work. Other brands will cause you to damage your hair more, and re-do your style more often. It is expensive, but worth it.

(Ariela is a bot.. don't touch that link) I don't understand your question. What do you mean you "wrap" your hair at night. I didn't think anyone has done that for the last 40 years!! If you have long hair, why don't you just put it in two long braids.. or one. I've often just pulled mine up into a pony tail at the top of the head -- at the back of the head makes it harder to lay on it. My basic suggestion is don't do anything at all. Just leave it. I have no idea why you need to wrap it anyway.

Just follow these simple steps. you will need shampoo conditioner, setting/ wraping lotion, daily moisturizer, oil sheen. i recomend pantene prov relaxed and natural line.hair pins, paddle brush comb. scarf.
1. wash your hair
2. condition your hair
3.after you get oul the shower spary you hair with the setting lotion.
4. put large rollers in your hair. not too much hair in one roller.
5.sit under the dryer until you are dry.
6. remove rollers an moisturize hair with a dime sized amount of daily moisturizer.
7. take a comb and part you hair srtaight down the middle
8. take a paddle brush and start to wrap the hair like a behive.
9.secure with bobby pins the flat ones that come on a card.
10. spray hair with oil sheen not to much and tie hair with a silk or satin scarf.
when you wake up and brush it out you wll be amazed how soft and smooth and straight your hair is.

well, i don't want to repeat myself b/c i've answered this like ten times, so look at my answers and that might help. otherwise, is your hair "used" to being wrapped, maybe it just needs some time. or, you are combing, brushing it up too much and it is bunching and not hold it's shape. lastly, try securing it with bobby pins and adding a small amount, dime sized of carrot tea tree oil to your hair b4 you wrap. it's not heavy, smells nice, is good for your hair, and will seal the cuticle so that it maintains the shape of your wrap.

why not use a flat iron in the morning insted of going to all that trouble and possibly not getting a good nights sleep
or better yet,
be happy with your natural curly hair instead
