Geez i havent heard that name in years. The actor who played him died today.

Who else grew up watching that show?

Don Herbert was Mr. Wizard from the 80's show. I used to watch that show religiously, and then do the experiments in first grade! That's a good show for kids!! R.I.P. Mr. Wizard!

Don Herbert was also the host of Watch Mr. Wizard, which ran on NBC from 1951-1965. Godspeed, Mr. Wizard.

I did...which is why I chose his name for my nickname! He and I are quite much alike, I think.
