I want beachy blonde summer hair. Right now it is medium blonde hair with some natural highlights, I just want it to be a few shades lighter. Ive tried lemon juice but that doesnt have dramatic results. Do you know any products that arent permanent that I could use? I only know of going darker with semi-permanent dyes.

No, semi-permanent products can not lighten hair. You could accentuate the color of your hair with a "weekly rinse" which washes out at the next shampooing. Roux is the largest producer of those.

The semi-permanent products will fade out in 3 to 6 weeks, as far as the effect of the color goes. But the chemicals of the product stay on your hair until it is cut off, so if you put more on, you must not change coloring companies, or products lines in most cases.

To lighten hair you must bleach it. There are some salon tints that can lighten hair to some degree, but not a lot, and they are of the permanent type that must be maintained on a regular basis.
