Can I earn money part time to be reported on 1099 and still be eligeable for SC unemployment benefits?

In many states, you can earn a certain amount of money working part time and still collect unemployment benefits. Not sure what SC allows, but ask the u.c. people. You would have to report it though. The fact that it's 1099 income wouldn't make a difference.
