No, I am Catholic and I don't buy that bunk. God is not that severe. God judges the heart -- not how many Bible verses one can spew back or how many times one calls, "Lord, Lord".
The merits of Jesus atoning death and resurrection are applicable to anyone.....not just an elect few. Many follow Christ by their lives without being consciously aware of it. Many pagans, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, atheists, and the like will get into heaven ahead of me because many are far more "Christ-like" than I. Who knows.....perhaps my prayers and the Eucharists that I receive will sanctify you. After all, isn't it God himself who would inspire me to even pray for you to begin with? Nothing at all has its origin in me.....all is of God....all is grace.

Nope, because not all Christians follow the bible The difference is we believe that Christ died on the cross for our sins and if we are sorry for what we have done we will be forgiven and therefore spend eternity in heaven with the Lord our God.

Pagan myself as well.
Yes they do, I have been told so many times on this forum that I'm sure many believe it. Luckily even if they are right according to Dante its the first ring of hell where its not very hot and you get to hang out with great philosophers all day.
So send me there and stop bugging me about choosing Jesus.

Yes. Just like all people that fail a test get an F. Or are you suggesting that equal credit be given to everyone, regardless of following the directions? Sounds crazy to me

For not trusting God through Jesus Christ. The bible is an important book to describe all of this, but it is just a book. The reality of God is there for those who trust Him. Those that don't want proof that they will never get unless they do trust Him.

better question is why do all you "pagans" spend so much time attacking the believers? personally, i think all intolerant people like you, pagan and christian, muslem and jew are all going to hell (if there is a hell, i frequently think we're all in hell now, just don't know it)

For not following the Bible? No.
The message that Jesus taught was about people accepting or rejecting him and his message through faith - that is what determines our eternal life.
When we accept God and his salvation through faith then the BIble becomes relevant as a guide and teaching for our lives - but it is not the Bible that is the end, Jesus is.

need I answer? fine then
it is not believing in the written word that condemns one to Hell, but rejecting the Living Word as one's only Lord and Savior. Only God's children, those born into His family, enter His house.

Not exactly the Bible.
You won't make it to heaven though if you don't have a relationship with Jesus.
If you were a good, sinless, person... you'd make it to heaven, but I doubt you've never sinned.
Everyone needs a sacrifice to take away their sins.
