If a woman is taking her clothes OFF in the presence of men...HOW can she be adorned in modest apparel?? The only answer is she can't.

Fornication is sexual immorality...fornicators are sexually immoral people. GOD says to flee fornication which is sexual immorality. Fornication is ANY sexual sin. Adultery, homosexuality, sex outside of marriage, sex with animals, lust, etc., etc.,
Stripping encourages fornication.
The CHOICE is yours to make...choose ye THIS day whom you will serve...GOD or SATAN.
The same goes for the men who go into such places....they also make a CHOICE of whom they will serve when tempted to go into such places.

Nah, manipulating people for money is a great American tradition. You don't see people damning the marketers. (Except the ones that make those annoying safe auto commercials...)
It's the sexual entertainment that some people find objectionable. Of course, it's a matter of perspective. I mean, if you define "right" as "adherence to the laws of society", then stripping certainly isn't immoral.
In America, morality seems to be defined primarily through religion. This is one of the things that distresses me about modern belief systems. As the answers here demonstrate, many people don't even believe morality can *exist* separately from religion--it makes my brain ache a little. ;-p
On top of that, there's this backwards notion that one person can be "responsible" for another person's "sin." So the idea is that a stripper causes sin in all the men who see her. Which is nonsense, because they CHOOSE to be there. Choose to watch, choose to think what they think, choose to act how they act.
People pass the blame so often that God (or your deity of choice) would need an army of lawyers to figure out who was culpable. The man blames the stripper, the stripper blames Janet Jackson, she blames the costume maker...
And don't get me started on the fact that Americans still *define* nudity as a sin. I spent three years living overseas, and the European soap commercials would be considered soft porn here...

Just a simple answer ma'am. Stripping for men...whether it be for money or for fun causes them (men) to have lustful thoughts....and ofcourse that is why a lot of men dig it. However, from the standpoint of a believer in God and Christ, we are told that lust (the desire for sex without love or committment) is wrong. The same thing would hold true for suggestive language like on the phone "hotlines", extremes in revealing clothing etc. The human body is not ugly, immoral or bad in any way...but unfortunately, it is the nature of man to have thoughts that are "ugly". And no, you don't force men to come in...but if you or someone in the same profession were not offering them what you offer...I don't think they would be beating down the door.

I used to work in Portland, OR, where you can have full nudity and alcohol served at the same place. We used to go down the street to the strip club for lunch, pay $3 for half a roast beef sandwich & soup, another $4 for a pint of microbrew, and watch the strippers get nekkid.
They didn't get any money, and we got a good, cheap lunch with an eyeful of beaver. Would you consider that "amoral" as a stripper?
I'm with you, though; it goes both ways.

I think you mean immoral, not amoral, but I don't think that it is either one. Most men probably understand that they are being manipulated for money, but allow it because they are being entertained. Enormously entertained, in my experience. There are few things I enjoy more than watching a sexy young woman take her clothes off to music. Actually, forget the music!

I've never stripped, but I'm pretty open minded and as long as the girls aren't soliciting sex then I don't have a problem with it. Hell, I really don't even have a problem with prostitution as long as it's done in a brothel instead of the streets. There need to be precautions taken for everyone's health and safety. It's just another job.

As a Christian I would not visit a place like that because it would cause me to lust and desire another woman besides my wife. I am instructed to not expose myself to temptation.
For the dancer or entertainer or any of the people who go to a strip club it's a personal choice. If they don't believe what I believe then I can't hold them accountable to the same standards that I use for myself. (Don't read that as me trying to say my standards are better, I'm not at all saying that. They're just different than yours because of my faith)

Deep down men are afraid of the power the female body has over them. It can override them because its wired in such a primal part of the brain. Its not immoral in the least, and there are far worse travesties in the world to worry about.

It's not immoral at all. It's simply a job just like any other. I personally believe that politics are way dirtier than stripping or pornography.
