that's ok, i mean your "friend" now knows what does he feels about her, they will be boyfriend and girlfriend i guess, so one day could tell him that he likes him a lot and that she has before he told ther that he liked her, it's not a secret, u or yuor friend don't have to worry about, its just question of letting him know that, before it's too late and broke up because he might think that he's the only one who likes the other one in that relationship, that carries problems, and always cames up with a break up, its not that difficult to say I love you, like the way u love me, and i have loved you, even before knowing that u loved me, or something like that

Why not? There's not much "your friend" can do about it now, other than to call the guy (see him in person, send him an email/text) and tell him that she likes him.

It sounds like she is either trying to play coy or she doesn't particularly like the guy. She should tell him one way or the other before he moves on, just to do the right thing.
