Yesterday afternoon on my 14th birthday my bf and i broke up. i got mad at him and i told him i didn't really wanna be friends. i thought about it and cooled off and later i called his cell and left him a message saying i was sorry and that i still wanted to be friends. that night we talked for two hours and he told me that he liked this calm relaxed side of be so much better and that he said he hasn't stopped liking me but now he knows the real me and he likes it. we have had relaxed conversations about hanging out sometimes and being really close. he only broke up with me because he was stressed and i believe him. he are closer than ever b4. now today we saw eachother at the pool by accident and we said hi but it was akward. ever since that he said he still loves no matter what and has been acting all lovey dovey. what is going through his head please help!!!

Hey sis, I found out your question and wanted to give some feedback to it. I apologize that I came yesterday very strong in giving my opinion. When I read about your other questions I came to realize that I shouldn't have said that.

As I understand the information you're sharing about your boyfriend is only partial. I also came to know about your parent's divorce in Feb, which I think is really devastating for you. I believe that you hooked up with your b/f around the time your parents got divorced, right? To me it seems like he also felt all the pressures that you've been going through during this period. And believe me if you shared these information to any guy all the time they'll fly away in another second if they aren't serious. If they're serious enough they'll be willing to share these types of information with you feeling that they have some responsibility on your side.

Now what you got to do is try to isolate the different situations that you've been going through. Are you mad at him because of your parent's divorce but actually like him? Was he co-operative and assured you when you shared such information with him? Did you overdid this type of sharing which might be the reason why he's stressed, or he might have problem of his own which you never knew - or asked in the first place.

Since I wish all the good things to happen to you - I'd suggest you to cool down first and think thoroughly on all the things that might have happened to your relationship. I hope you don't want your parent's divorce to come in the middle of your relationship.

You're the only one that have all the answers and who has the power to decide what you're gonna do next. Remember that you can feel free to take the opinions of everyone in this world - but you have sole responsibility to decide what's good for you.

Don't feel bad over what happened. Just be optimistic on what could be done to make it take the positive turn. If you're better off without him then its all right. If its better for you to be with him as a friend or b/f then its also all right.

Take your time and hope for the best. This is the attitude for success in any course you'll take in life.

What's going on? Both of you are kids, you're inexperienced at handling relationships, and at times it'll show. Unfortunately, the only way to learn is through experience.

He's obviously still interested in you. My advice? Ask him out.
