I am trying to lose weight so I figured going 6 days would be good to lose weight but people are telling me I shoud go less so my body can rest and I will lose more weight this way. I find it hard to believe. If i'm not out exercising how will I lose the weight?

6 days a week isn't too often as long as you are not doing the same routine each time. I'm not sure if you are doing strictly cardio or if you are incorporating lifting also. For cardio, rotate treadmill, elliptical, and the bike. Throw in an aerobics class or a spinning class into the mix. This way you aren't training the same muscles over and over again and this will give them time to rest. If you are lifting weights, do back and Tri's one day, Chest and Bi's one day, Legs one day. This way you are working out 6 days a week and only isolating areas twice a week. 6 days a week can be done.

hell aye man... you should be going to the gym maybe 2-3 times a week and do more rest then work. this is so that your body has time to lose the excess fat. otherwise your body is just busy exercising Rather then losing weight!

focus more on diet then exercises

well maybe u need to ask ur self, am i going to go to the gym for 6days in a row for the rest of my life? because if u are going 6days in a row now, when u decide to change ur routine u will gain more weight than u lost so i would say to go to the gym moderately and when u need to boost weight loss for some thing special then go for 6days in a row then go back to what was working for you prior to the special event.

you need to give your body adequate time to recover in between training sessions or you may experience major fatigue, illness and actually cease to make progress with fitness or weight loss.
