Sportbike. The non riding types or barely able to handle horse power and good handling types call them "rice burners, rice rockets, donorcycles, jap crap, etc. When you ride a lame 700 pound 35 HP turd that might manage 100mph down hill with a tail wind, and a semi pushing it you have to resort to name calling.

Depending on the style of "crotch rocket" Sport bike would fit for all of them. Sport bike, supersport, or even sport touring are how you gennerally describe them. It just depends on what model, how fast it is, and what it is intended for.
