My hair is very curly and parted down the middle ... I no longer wish to have it parted like this, but it seems like it's going to stay this way forever. My hair is very dry and curly and frizzy and I'm just looking for ways to improve it.

Whenever I come my hair straight back, it always goes back to the annoying part.

1) Pull your hair back in the evening & secure it w/ a loose pin or elastic - to train it away from the middle part.

2) After a few days - try switching to a side part & securing it w/ a pin in the evening to train it in another direction.

3) Consider getting a hair cut to remove some of the bulk & weight. Let the hair dresser know about your problem so he/she can cut your hair in a way to encourage it to fall differently.

BTW, Joico K-Pak shampoo & conditioner are the best for dry, frizzy hair. Jojoba oil - just a tiny drop helps control frizzies, conditions hair & adds a bit of sheen. Jojoba oil washes out easily & is non-comedogenic.

The other thing to try is a super absorbent microfiber hair towel - i.e. Aquis, The Body Shop. It will reduce drying time. Use a wide tooth comb to de-tangle. The use your fingers to form ringlets. Use a diffuser attachment when you blow it dry.

You simply comb your hair straight back and part it in a different direction .

Try combing it straight back while wet and clipping it that way. It will take a while, but you should be able to get it to go away.

get your hair wet and flatten it down as good as you can get it. Then take a comb and part it where you want. If your hair won't part the way you want after that, try a straightner.

just start parting it another way and use a better shampoo. if your hair is dry that means that the shampoo is not working! if that doesnt work get a haircut!:] if that doesnt work go to your hairstylist and ask if they can suggest a better shampoo or info!:]
