I'm not a christian, but I have studied the creator god you speak of. His first three commandments say that those Jesus fish are big no-no's. According to the legends, he's had his prophets order his followers kill all of their brothers, sisters, friends and family members for such actions. Think Moses and golden calfs.
Some of you christians need to seriously rethink your position on who you pray to and what you wear on your body and post for others to see. Even the cross is considered a graven image.

Well what exactly is an emblem of God? Just the word God? That wouldn't work because my God is not the God of my neighbors. The fish is just a sign that you are a believer...I love my fish!

The initial letters of the Greek words for Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior spell ichthus, the Greek word for 'fish'. The Christians in the early church used the word ichthus and a simple sign of a fish to identify themselves as Christians. This was particularly important when they were being persecuted, as they could identify one another with a sign that looked innocent to those who did not understand it.

Oh, you mean Zeus?
Allah?
Ahura Mazda?
The Invisible Pink Unicorn?
The Flying Spaghetti Monster?
Nobody can prove any gods, much less a specific god, exist; many people will tell you their god exists but no others, but will never be able to prove it, even if they think so. Some will threaten you with eternal pain or promise eternal joy to get you to believe in their god; these are all stories, created for people who were scared long before we understood the universe. Now we have no more reason for these superstitions.

I don't even know what the fish has to do with Jesus. I think the whole thing is pretty stupid.
