How would I go about it, who do I contact?

I don't want to explain everything here, but I'm 14, and it's not just me not liking my parents, but something's wrong and has been wrong all my life.
There is a specific family I would like to live with that would take me in. How would I get this to work out?

First, ask your parents if you can move in with the family you like (get their permission of course). That probably won't work. Second, tell your parents that you need counseling and ask them to help you get it. If they agree, the counselor will involve your parents and that's a very good road to bettering your situation. That's the MOST likely effective way of proceeding. If they don't hear you, don't react to that at all, or otherwise sabotage you, the option left is to contact child protective services. They will then open an inquiry and take steps to protect you from further harm. That's a big step and will require great courage and resolve on your part. I encourage you to do whatever you need to do to protect yourself because the damage that is being done can be very severe and long-lasting. God bless you.

~It sounds to me like you just want to live with this other family. I could be wrong, you didn't offer enough details. I knew when I was 11 years old that my parents were unfit, and trust me, foster homes are no fun.
This "family" might be nice at first, but if they're responsible adults, they will create rules, and make you mind. Don't be fooled into thinking it will always be as it is right now.
If you're being sexually or physically abused, call social services.~

Ok, people are going to have all kinds of answers, but you really need to go talk to somebody that you can tell your situation to. Dont forget school counselors are there for a reason. Tell one of your teachers you really need to talk to one, and they will let you go. Tell them what youre comfortable talking about, and see what advice they can give you. Good luck with everything and I hope whatever you need to happen works out.
