I am tolerant of other people's beliefs. As long as you respect my beliefs, I respect yours. Some friends of mine are Catholics and we don't fight or show disrespect for each other's religions.
Jesus, (pbuh), was a great prophet, and we Muslims respect him greatly. We don't think of him as a god, we believe only Allah (swt) is God. We also believe that Jesus will return one day before the Day of Judgement to bring peace, to fight the antichrist, and show people the truth.

I have nothing against Catholics personally. I have had the pleasure of meeting some nice ones in my life time.
Personally I have more respect for Catholics than Protestants.
As for Catholic history, I can think of no other religious group in human history that has caused more bloodshed, death, and human suffering. The Catholic Church should never ever again have any political power.
As for Jesus I think he was an individual that initially represented lofty ideals, but was then used as a justification for war, persecution, and death. I dont resent Jesus, I resent those that use him as a justification for their crimes.
As for your beliefs I think that the reformation that the Catholic Church as gone though in the last century has been very positive, and I hope it continues to teach its members to be more tolerant of others while working to fix their own problems.

I dunno, I've never really thought about "Catholics" in general outside of referring to the religion. I've known a few in my lifetime and I've always had good impressions about them. My neighbor was a nun, and we used to sit and have cake and tea and chat away. I'm not beyond a basic knowledge of Catholicism, but it, as well as Orthodox and Coptic, seems more rooted in the ancient traditions than most other sects. They have a certain ethereal beauty about them.
I think you know what we think about Jesus (saws), lol! He's our Prophet, however we don't think of him as divine, because we believe that there are none like God, and only He deserves to be worshiped. But we don't think of him any less then all the other prophets that played such important roles in shaping our religions.
Oh, I do have to say I highly respected the former Pope, and I think the current one has a LOT of catching up to do to fill his shoes. And I think he's gotten off on a bad start.

In general, most Catholics I've met have been more open minded than most Protestants I've met, but I believe the beliefs are essentially the same. Muslims love and respect Jesus (pbuh).

I think catholics and overall christians have the right to believe anything they want to. but lets get real... first Jesus was a jew and christianity used to be a branch of judisim so you are actually jews. Jesus wasnt the messiah or the son of G-d. those are my opinons
