According to Jewish teaching, the goyim (non-Jews) are secure in the world to come, as long as they've obeyed the Seven Noahide Laws.

What of those who don't?

Bro John:

From Wikipedia:
The seven laws listed by the Talmud are

1 Prohibition of Idolatry: - You shall not make for yourself an idol.
2 Prohibition Murder: - You shall not murder.
3 Prohibition of Theft: - You shall not steal.
4 Prohibition of Sexual Promiscuity: - You shall not commit adultery.
5 Prohibition of Blasphemy: - You shall not blaspheme.
6 Prohibition of Cruelty to Animals: - Do not eat the flesh of a living animal.

Bro John:

They are further significantly broken down. The Wiki article has the full break-down:

Emet:

*grins* I take it you've read the Sefer Yetzirah and/or Sefer Zohar.

As have I.

As I understand it, no one is so bad to endure the penalty/purification for even a full year, after which, the divine spark moves upwards, cleaner and ready to reach higher towards its return to G-D and to Ayin.

But I was curious what some other teachings, non-Kabbalistic, had to say on the issue, since I myself keep neither Noahide nor Mosaic law.

Next time, at least TRY to have a correct answer, hmmm? Instead of spouting off garbage, at least.

Better yet, don't point game.

same thing that happens to jews who don't follow the 613, i suppose. and since there is not really a concrete opinion on that one either, then you will just have to formulate your own opinion.

im not an expert of Judaism, but those who aren't good in Judaism go to Gehenna for up to a year. I would assume its the same to those who don't follow the Noahide Laws; sins turn to demons, demons attack for a few months, then to Sheol.

the noahide question seems jaded. You only pointed out one aspect of it. Also, how many did you think would know what it was?

Well I dont think their is a universal answer to this question.

I would say it depends on the individual and what he accomplished in life.

but again I honestly dont know, and I dont think anyone dose.

According to the New Testament the OT laws were given to make us aware that it is impossible for us to obey all of God's laws fully and so be righteous before God.
"Therefore no one will be declared righteous in His sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin." Rom. 3:20

With Jesus' sacrifice a new covenant between God and men was established, whereby we are made righteous before God, if we accept Jesus' sacrifice for ourselves by faith.

"But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." Rom. 3:21-24

Worms, anyone?
JP has just opened a nice, fresh can!

Seriously, we need to have a better idea of what the Noahide laws are really saying. Shockingly, those who support the Noahide movement are maybe more likely to stick a knife in someone who doesn't agree with them than your average Muslim terrorist...especially if the person who doesn't agree with them happens to be Christian.

Eleven months of nightmarish "sleep of the dead" and then they return to The Creator...

Those who don't, won't. It's fairly straight-forward, and it's not like those laws are too difficult.

Unfortunately for those following those particular teachings the Bible says otherwise. We are ALL under the second covenant.

This means that Jews and Gentiles alike must accept God's plan of salvation as it stands...Christ and all.
