Like others I've heard that breast feeding will give you the jump you need with weight loss. The trouble with that is that you have to be careful what you eat so that you don't give the baby gas!
I'd say eat sensibly and exercise. Getting up at at all hours with the baby will wear you out. Sleep while the baby sleeps, while the baby is awake put some exercise in your routine. Also I've read (and done it myself) that if you drink 24 oz of milk in a 24 hour period that it boosts your metabolism. This has worked for me, give it a try. Work out! Work out! Work out!

The right way to lose weight is the same for everyone....eat less than you burn off and exercises. However, you need to be careful if you're breast feeding because you'll need to eat a little more than you normally would.
Just watch what you eat, not a lot of fatty or sugary food, do your exercises and have fun with that precious little bundle!

Walk everyday. I lost the weight by pushing my baby in the stroller and walking. I monitored what I are for breakfast and lunch, but then ate whatever I wanted at dinner. I was back to a size 2 within 3 months.

Take walks with the baby, especially good if you wear him or her in a carrier, it's like wearing a weighted vest.
If the weight isn't budging, Weight Watchers is a simple, easy to follow program.

Make sure that you eat healthy and don't "diet" if you are breast feeding..
What you do to start depends on if you were active when you were pregnant.
Try taking the baby out in the stroller for a brisk walk...swimming...maybe a light cardio or aerobics class..
