Really? He was an atheist? That's a new one.I mean I knew was more lacks..But umm I know while the show was on break he came back all religious after it came back on and started restricting things he would and would not do on growing pains. If he were atheist maybe those reasons made sense to him and maybe he changed his mind because the reasons for believing in Christ(Does he believe in just Christ or God the father as well?)made sense to him?Regardless if you thought they were lame arguments maybe it sparked something in him to believe it.We're all different and need to be convinced in different ways.

I know plenty of people who used to be atheists and they turned into christians.
and not all atheists think that christianity has "lame arguments".
You don't even know the guy, so how can you say he's lying about once being an atheist?
Let him believe what he wants, and you believe what you want.

He was a child actor without a follow up career. I doubt if he is a christian now factually as well.
I think Cameron and Comfort are just trying for a cut of the Televangelist pie.

His sister is a christian. He also says that his basis for being an Atheist was not going to church because he didn't care or need god. Not an Atheist. I personally know a lot of xtians that fit that description. (Most believe because they think religion is a prerequisite for good morals).

The program that Kirk runs is a NOT FOR PROFIT so he doesn't get paid to say any of it...so yes unless he is just a stupid liar which he has absolutely no reason to lie...he could just say what he really was....an atheist..

Obviously not. He is merely using the classic Christian tactic of trying to convince fellow believers that he knows what he is talking about.
He doesn't.

He also claims to have been depressed and sad. Basically, by religious thinking, its the perfect time to pray upon a person to convince them to join their religion... the weakest moment in their lives. They promise easy solutions to their problems and think that they're actually doing something good by doing so.

It's possible to be an atheist for stupid reasons, just as it is possible to be a Christian for stupid reasons. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt on this one.
