I'm trying to run a System Sentinel anti-spyware scan but I keep getting this error. (And I think the tech support guy has gone home). I've already downloaded dao360.dll but Run won't open regsvr32C because there's no program attached. Does anybody out there even know what I'm talking about? I sure don't...I'm so out of my league...
And please don't tell me just to use Spybot---it never found anything.
Thanks.

It sounds like spyware scan or no spyware scan the Java on your computer needs attention.

My suggestion is this:
Go to your control panel (it's in the start menu)
Go to Add and Remove Programs,
and look for anything that says Java or Java Runtime.
There may be several entries with different versions and updates.
Remove them all. If it says Java, get rid of it.

When you have successfully removed all the java runtime from your computer, restart it.
When the computer is back up and fully operational,
Go to the Java site to download the latest version of Java to your computer.
The internet address is below.

See if your spyware scan has an issue with the latest version.
Hope not.
I hope this helps.
