i heard that splenda (one pack) has 4 calories... even though it says zero... I heard this is because if something has less than 5 claories it is considered a zero calorie food item? is this true

I don't care how many calories it has. Splenda is a legal poison. If you don't want to add calories to your system, drink water. If you want flavor, put some real lemon in it.

A lower calorie, lower glycemic, truly all-natural and generally organic sweetener is Agave Nectar.

Stay away from aspartame (aka Nutrasweet) and Splenda. They will only wreak havoc with your system in the long haul.

Yes it is true. There is no such thing as zero calories or zero fat...companies have "wiggle" room on what they have to report.
Splenda is made from real sugar by the way...
