I would like to say that I love atheists. I pray and hope someday that God will show Himself to them. Christians we need to share the love with them. The only reason Christians are always trying to talk to yall is we love you enough to tell you the truth.

Here are some verse that i like to tell everyone:

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7

The fool has said in his heart,“There is no God.” Psalm 14:1

There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12

“The heart is deceitful above all things,And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways,
According to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:9-10

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. John 14:6

“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” Mark 1:15

Those of you who resent Christians loving you despite yourselves, and who resent being handed pamphlets, or resent our trying to teach you what it means to us to be Christian will have to face the music one day. There will be a Judgement Day whether you believe in God or not. Good Christians will continue to do all of the above because it is what we are supposed to do. We may not save your soul, but we must try. When you get angry, you don't reject us. You're rejecting God and He sees that.

My motto is "Treat others as you want to be treated"! So I love everyone. I do find that atheists have a very negative attitude and can become very hostile. I think that comes from a lack of peace and love that comes from knowing Jesus Christ. I have friends who are atheist and I don't preach to them, but they know my beliefs and I don't hold my tongue around them. I show them love equally. God will show them the way someday. As the joke goes:

An atheist was walking through the woods one day, admiring all that evolution had created. Suddenly he heard a rustling in the bushes behind him. Turning to look, he saw an 8 foot grizzly bear beginning to charge toward him.

He ran as fast as he could down the path. He looked over his shoulder and saw that the bear was rapidly closing on him Running faster yet, he looked again and the bear was even closer. His heart was pounding in his chest. He tried to run faster. But alas, he tripped and fell to the ground.

As he rolled over to pick himself up, the bear was right over him, reaching for him with its left paw and raising its right paw to strike him. The atheist cried..."GOD DAMN!..."

Time stopped. The bear froze. The forest was silent. Even the river stopped moving. As a brilliant light shone upon the man, a thunderous voice came from the sky.

"YOU DENY MY EXISTENCE FOR ALL THESE YEARS, TEACH OTHERS THAT I DON'T EXIST AND EVEN CREDIT CREATION TO SOME COSMIC ACCIDENT. NOW, YOU EXPECT ME TO HELP YOU AND DAMN THIS BEAR? AM I TO COUNT YOU AS A CHRISTIAN?"
The atheist looked directly into the light and said, "Why don't you try and make the bear a Christian?"

"VERY WELL," said the voice. The light went out. The river ran. The sounds of the forest resumed. ... and the bear dropped down to his knees, brought both paws together, bowed his head and spoke: "Lord, thank you for this food which I am about to receive."

Well, it is said that you can "kill with kindness"...but I'm not at your spiritual level yet. I mean, I agree with you - I just can't follow through with it. I'm not taking the verbal abuse because I don't have to. It's like trying to communicate with a group of nazi's who have rabies. First off, they dont make sense...they call religious people "stupid, mindless idiots", yet they permeate the religion & spirituality section. Go figure! I mean, if you dont agree with me, why not just simply say so? Why the name calling, belief bashing - whatever. They lump every Christian into one group when they don't know *every* Christian. They think we're all trying to convert them. I'm not. You think I want hate mongers in Heaven with me? It wouldn't be much of a Heaven then, would it! I believe that if they want to change, they will. God gave everyone a free will. Who am I to try and take that away from them. They assume becasue I'm Christian, that I hate them. I don't. I don't even dislike them. I feel SORRY for them. But as a Christian, I don't have to take their abuse. I know, I know...God says we will be persecuted for our faith. Well, they do that without me even having to be here. So why bother? So all I can say to you friend is that you'll be ahead of me in line at the gates...because I'm not taking their nazi bull$hit.

Where does it say to think enmity to non-beleivers given that Jesus died for every person, even individuals who do not take delivery of them. That is why Jesus stated do not pass judgement on. There need to be an exception seeing that definitely Jesus wasn't a pacifist flipping the desk or anything.

Seriously? This is NOT the way to do it.

By the verses you included, Atheists are supposed to accept that Christians love them because:

1) They should fear the Lord
2) They are fools for not believing
3) They should not trust their hearts (hm, symbols of love?)

Go back to Paul's verses, and try again.

Sure would be nice if you people would come down off your soap boxes long enough to realize that when you pray for people who did not ask for it, you are pushing your religion and beliefs onto them and into their lives and thus violating them. It is the equivalent of me casting a spell for you without you having asked first - you sure as hell wouldn't like that, would you?

Why is it that the non chrisitans have so much more moral fiber?

wow. its the posts like this that make me speechless.
sometimes i think that the people that put up these kind of posts are really just skeptics being sarcastic.

if it was really a christian, how can they make such a silly gesture like this and not realize the absurdity of their message.

i mean , c'mon. you want to convert an atheist with specific bible quotes that are:
1.)not very successful in making someone understand that the bible is real.
2.) insanely trite; every one knows these verses. what exactly are you bringing to these people?

Yes, love you enough to tell you that Jesus loves you, and has a plan and purpose for your life, if only you would put down your ideas, and search for Him, for He is found by those who do so wholeheartedly.

No, you are trying to give us your opinion on the truth. That's not truth. Until you can understand the difference, you are doing Christianity no favors, and you are wallowing in ignorance. The truth is that you don't respect yourself enough to admit that you don't know the difference between "knowing" and "believing". You can't love me if don't enough love yourself enough not to lie to yourself. But thanks anyways, and please go back to school and get a proper education. Either that, or open a dictionary and learn how to properly define and use words like "truth."

Cool. I never heard the "there is a way that seems right to man, but that leads to death." This is kind of like the Upanishads that says, "Ignorant of their ignorance, these men of vain learning fall again and again into the sea."

Righteous.
